K-Rog Wildcat TV & Radio

When the pandemic forced everyone to stay home, one group of friends got creative in their boredom and accidentally made a community resource.

Defacto Station Manager, Will Worsham, saw members of his community making great content on Facebook.  Among many others were a local art teacher sharing art lessons and a father/ daughter duo with cooking tutorials.  Will thought with all this great content, wouldn’t it be great to share it all in one place?  So he “grabbed [his] iPad and made a page and called it K-ROG”.

This little page took off.  More people got involved with creating content and asking to be involved and the answer was always “YES”.

“The idea behind K-ROG is to support Rogersville as a community and help people relate, get together, get to know each other better.  We value everybody that wants to be a part of K-ROG”.

Broadcasting Rogersville sports teams have been very popular, especially when they win so often.

6 months in, K-ROG rented studio space in Jamestown Center, sponsored by The Resource Center.  The first live broadcast from that studio took place on 09/23/2020.
